Here you can find my efforts to tweak Mozilla software more to my liking. If they are of any use to you whatsoever, please feel free to use them.
News “Reply to…” Switcher Add-on
Switches “Reply to sender” and “Reply to newsgroup” around in various Thunderbird menus so that, when present, “Reply to newsgroup” appears first. This means that right-clicking on a newsgroup post and clicking the first item on the menu will not cause you to accidentally reply to the sender by email. Why this isn’t the default, I have no idea.
Version 1.3. Works with Thunderbird 2.0.

Winstripe’s Old Menus Add-on
I didn’t like the new flat-looking menus in Firefox 1.5, or 2.0 with the Winestripe theme, or in Thunderbird 2.0 with the Thunderstripe theme, on Windows of course. They probably don’t look bad if you use Windows XP’s horrible cartoon-like default theme, but if you don’t (and why would you?) then the menus look crap! This extension returns them to their former 3D glory!
Version 1.3. Works with Firefox 2.0 and Thunderbird 2.0. It doesn’t work with Firefox 3 because there won’t be a Winestripe theme for Firefox 3, as the creator of Winestripe explains:
Also, there will not be a version [of Winestripe] for Firefox 3, as it appears to be too much work to further adjust the theme to be compatible, sorry.
There is another Winstripe-like theme for Firefox 3, but that already has 3D menus.

Handy Mouse Gestures
In Forefox, I use the Optimoz Team’s Mouse Gestures extension, and would recommend it. Here’s a couple of mouse gestures I’ve found very useful. If you have the Mouse Gestures extension installed, you can click on the following links to install the gestures:
Previous numbered page (I didn’t make this’n): install
Next numbered page (I didn’t make this’n either): install
Undo close tab (works with Tab Mix Plus extension): install
Undo close tab (works with SessionSaver extension): install
